Torn between old school traditions and the look of new-school cool? Well, buckle up, because this one’s for you. Craig and Haley's wedding nailed the mix of traditional wedding elements with modern moody updates to create a day that feels classic, yet personalized. Nestled between the pines in Prescott, this gorgeous venue featured rich greens and lush textures that were just asking for some dark, romantic florals.
First things first – the color palette was ultra-modern, consisting of whites, blacks, deep burgundies, and a touch of blush pink. Looking to make an impact with your blooms, but not super into bold colors? Consider this a sign from the universe to go dark and moody. For Haley’s bouquet, we layered winter white roses in with dark agonis and blush baby’s breath, then added some wispy whimsy with preserved windgrass.
Cannnnn we talk about the cross focal piece for Craig and Haley’s ceremony?? We draped cascading florals down the cross, updating this element to make it a real statement moment. A sweet flower crown for the flower girl feels oh-so special and echoed the blooms featured in the rest of Craig and Haley’s day.
After Craig and Haley tied the knot, it was just a hop, skip, and a jump to the reception space where their super chic styling really paid off. We love that this classic couple wasn’t afraid to incorporate a bit of black into their day. For their tables, we popped in a few bud vases and long jet-black taper candles. Et voilà, you’ve got a minimal, elegant tablescape that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
