We LOVE working in Sedona. Love it. Those red rocks are BREATHTAKING and to be honest, we can't get enough of that view. I also think that the energy in Sedona sets the perfect stage for a happy, dreamy wedding day.
Last September, Holly & Kori tied the knot among the red rocks then celebrated their new marriage at Tlaquepaque. Their day had all the right desert touches alongside a beautiful, upscale design details. It's a wedding we've been dying to share and I can't wait to walk you through all the beauty today!!
Let's start by talking about flower crowns. I will always and forever support tiny crowns for tiny people. They are never, not cute and you definitely need them. and while we're on the topic... You know what else we support? Floral collars on dogs. The cute overload is EVERYTHING.
Holly and Kori's standing ceremony was one for the books. If you're planning a short ceremony, you can skip chairs entirely. I love the intimacy this set-up created and the connection between the guests and the happy couple.
Following their ceremony, Holly and Kori moved to Tlaquepaque with their guests to celebrate. This sweet space is one of our favorite places to work and you're about to see exactly why.
Guest tables were marked by calligraphed cactus paddles and the centerpieces alternated between fun, desert inspired arrangements and candles in gorgeous, minimal glass cylinders. The set-up was simple but the end result was incredibly chic.
One of my favorite details throughout the reception were the terra cotta signs. Each guests' seat was marked by a calligraphed terra cotta plate and this detail was mirrored in their menu signage and in small cacti potted in terra cotta at each table.
