Today is a real treat because this wedding is from March of this year. YA’LL! I’m basically blogging in real time. What a dream. This wedding is so sweet and has some of my most favorite things: a crying groom at ceremony, tons of color in their decor, PATTERNED LINEN, and fun elements that show you just how rad the couple really is (beer burro? yesssss). If you’re planning a desert wedding that’s bursting with color, this wedding is a GREAT place to pull inspiration from.
Let’s start with the ceremony space, shall we? Roxanne and Brandon brought us a fun idea for the aisle rose petals. It’s so playful and perfectly pulls their bright colors through their ceremony space. If you peep the front of the aisle, you can spot not one but TWO installations! El Chorro is a gorgeous space for a wedding and this sweet lawn creates an intimate setting for “i do”. The gates behind the arch lead out to the parking lot so we wove foliage and flowers into the ironwork to obscure the view. I love the way it looks like this design grew there all by itself. And, of course, the real stunner here is our natural wood arch adorned with two BIG sprays of pink blooms.
I love the way Roxanne and Brandon chose to outfit their bridal party. It’s not often that we see bridesmaids in hot pink and we are SO HERE FOR IT. The highlight of the family and bridal party photos has to be the beer burro who stopped by at the last minute, delivered everyone beer, and stole the show.
Finally, their reception was sooooooo funnnnnnn. I truly can’t get over these patterned La Tavola linen and the character the bring to the space. Top it all off with some bold flowers and you’ve got yourself a dream of a reception!
