If you're in the thick of wedding planning, then you know that sometimes things don't go quiiiiite your way and you gotta pivot. (And if you're a 2020/2021 bride or groom, you probably learned how to pivot when NOTHING goes your way. We see you.) Tyler + Adrianne were all too familiar with this after their original venue decided to stop doing weddings then a whole pandemic hit. They shifted to a stunning new location and said "i do" in spite of it all and we loved being part of this dreamy day.
Partnering with Cloth & Flame and Kelsey Finland at Jane in the Woods, we created a fall-inspired design that featured a bunch of color in a moody and muted palette. Bringing the DRAMA in Adrianne's bouquet were the giant king protea and burgundy hanging amaranthus. A bunch of structured greenery and blue thistle made the florals feel wild and fit right into the design of the day. (Did we mention both Tyler + Adrienne opted for hiking boots instead of fancy footwear? Iconic.)
Our favorite part? We got to wrap Adrianne's bouquet in a draping mustard ribbon and lace that matched her dress. The same lace was also featured in her custom black denim jacket for the couple's portraits and we're OBSESSED. For the reception space, we accented the tables with more autumnal florals dotted with terracotta potted cacti. At the end of the day, Adrienne and Tyler got to have their dream, desert-inspired wedding proving that things totally work out in the end when there's loooooove in the mix.
