What do you do when you can't decide between a traditional look and a bold, modern statement for your wedding day? YOU DO BOTH!
Caroline and Baer came to us from Chicago and helping create the perfect look for their wedding day was SO much fun. Caroline's style leaned more classic - tighter arrangements, muted colors, and traditional blooms - while her mom's style was VERY modern. Rather than compromise on the overall style, we chose to feature each in different spaces to really let them shine.
Ok let's start at the ceremony - shall we? Traditional looks aren't always our jam but we loved creating these textural bouquets for Caroline. Because most guests were coming from out of state, the couple wanted to showcase fun desert blooms such as cacti, air plants, and succulents.
Hands down, our favorite element from the ceremony was the floral installation on the cactus. We created this 10ft. garland with olive and a blend of our favorite varieties of white roses. It. was. amazing. You need flowers on the cactus at your wedding. Trust us.
And then? BAM! THE RECEPTION WHICH IS AN EXPLOSION OF COLOR AND FUN AND PARTY AND WE LOVE IT!!!!
We wanted the tables to feel full without feeling cluttered so we chose oversize glass vessels to keep the visual weight light. All of their gorgeous vases are available for rent for our custom design, styling, and event clients! We chose to mix blooming branches (we loveeeee a spring wedding for all the floral choices we have), brightly colored floral designs in low vases, and cacti to tie in the design from the ceremony space. The bride's mom found the placemats on a trip to Marrakesh and the table numbers were custom made by They Call me Spindles on live cactus paddles.
